Description

I am afraid, in a month, similar scenes will be lived in Iraq if U.S. doesn't stop attacking. Regardless of the sides, many innocent civilian people will die tragically including the little girl dropped her teddy bear on the street covered with blood while trying to escape from the bombing U.S. fighters... May Allah save all the innocent people in this war and punish all who are guilty !

I do not mean to offend anybody, but we (US) are not fighting a war againt Iraq for any old reason. Iraq will not comply to the UN inspectors, and continue to hide thousands upon thousands of deadly chemical agents, which were supposed to be destroyed years ago. And unfortunatly their are always inocent civilian casualties when there is a war. My condolenses go out to all who are effected by this Iraq vs. Us War.

Wouldn't it be nice if the people responsible for escalating this would step forward and do the honorable thing instead of hiding behind those innocent women and children in their country and saying come get me ...

I am sorry but who sold out those weapons to Iraq Mr. Emberghost ??? In 80s, while Iran and Iraq were fighting, Iraq was the one of the greatest ally of U.S. in middle east, and got really massive weapon support from U.S. including chemical weapons. And now Mr. Saddam is the greatest terrorist of the world ? Nah... Go tell these stories to babies. The greatest terrorist is the one who support terrorism ! And for a second approach to the situation, Israel has almost 200 or more NUCLEAR weapons and nobody tells them to destroy their weapons ! Is this fair ? or are there something else behind this ? As far as i know, the decisions of U.N. about middle east, no middle east country can have nuclear or massive killing weapons. But Israel has a mass of them ! So if you (U.S.) are the saviour of the world, why don't you go stop Israel ? even they are ferociously killing Palestinians ! Why ? Go tell your sleep time stories to your children !

do any of you guys (who support war) stop for a while and think ? It's really easy to talk standing safe in your country and talk ignorantly. If you were one of them in Iraq or your child or your wife or your parents had died in a stupid war, you wouldn't be talking so...Terrorism cant be stopped with greater terrorism. US shamelessly keep telling stories about Iraq and terrorism. As gotham said above, US sold the weapons to Iraq in the past, and now trying to destroy them unconsciously. Thus becoming funnier and funnier...God has warned US and Israel, 4 days ago, with that tragic Columbia crash, and i think greater warnings are on the way if US doesn't stop. Very tragic...

I hadn't noticed purpleeye's comments, and can't help but comment also (even though this is an art forum). It is very dangerous to ascribe "tragic" (your word) events to God as warnings or punishment. When one stands to speak for God, one must be very certain of accuracy! You have commented against the killing of innocents in war (which is bad), and have said that it is "funnier and funnier" that God sent a warning by killing seven people. There is nothing funny about any loss of human life.

I refuse to comment on this subject again. It's pointless, stupid, and utterly useless. I can spew Anti-Arabic semtaments as much as I want, but will it make a difference? No. If you did research on this subject, you'd realise that most of you are spouting nothing but hot air. But, I'm not going to get into it. Believe what you want.

Just an observation: Rhetoric is still rhetoric, and propaganda is still propaganda.

disastermonkey (kind of a name is that?). Seriously. The Bush administration is a travesty. And everyone knows it. DhurakhapalaM, I like your image but I have a suggestion: maybe you don't need the teddybear or the bullets. Maybe the child's reflection in blood on the pavement is enough. Her expression gets the message through. Keep it up.

Chanson, I read the message of purpleeye mary carefully, and noticed that she said that who is becoming funnier and funnier is US not God. For Disastermonkey, I worship the same God with Christians or other monotheist religions. We call Him Allah, others call Him other. However you call Him, He has the most beautiful of names. This means that you have to have some knowledge before writing something about something. If you don't, just go and learn then talk. So, i know any history behind middle east. I also know that Saddam kas killed 5000 innocent Kurdish people with chemicals. I am not here to protect Saddam, i don't like him. I am not here to protect Arabs, i am not an Arab. But i am making these protesting pictures to protect innocents, whom you have no idea about...I am not hiding behind children Disastermonkey, i am protecting them, but you are hiding behind brutality and technology. You are hiding behind your nickname whatever it reminds...disaster !

"Take note" What do you take us for? Are you actually telling me that every thing will be peachy if we sit back and do nothing? And as for the US selling or providing weapons to our friends in the past, well the US has this flaw called loyalty unfortunately the US gets bit in the ass when dealing with countries witch lack this flaw. What gets me are all the idiots with selective amnesia out there that forget that when we provided weapons to these countries we and they had the same enemies be it Iran, the U.S.S.R., or whoever. Decades latter they have forgotten as many here have. But some of us dont forget we dont forget that Desert Storm wasnt ended by a peace treaty it was never truly ended, the hostilities were ended by a ceasefire a ceasefire contingent on terms, well guess what some body hasnt lived up to those terms its that simple. The US is just giving them what they obviously want.

Disastermonkey your statement about freedom coming from the barrel of an American gun is right on. The 2nd amendment is the backbone of this country and this country is the backbone of freedom across the globe. Mock, love you statements too and you pic. LET FREEDOM RING FOR ALL WHO YEARN FOR IT.

Lufra, the Bush administration isn't the point. Your guy lost, your next guy probably will to, get over it. Bush certainly isn't the brightest bilb in the box, but so far he hasn't nerve gas any civilian villages, how you can draw such a comparison is beyond me. Stated more simply (in deference to the song singing hand holders) the point I was trying make is that everyone who defends Iraq over the USA should go live there for 6 months. See what freedoms you get to enjoy there. Pictures and words never saved anybody and they won't this time. But make one using Vicky 3 & poser 5 in Iraq and it will certainly doom you. There is one force on earth that might be able to change that and that is the USA. I hope it eventually works out for them. In any case the talking is about to stop, I for one am glad...

I would have to say that this picture is very well done but, it's about the conflict in the middle east, im not condoning that im just saying that this piece would be much more powerful if it was just on the subject of war it's self.
