Description
A few incarnations after the original image posted, thanks to the help I've had.
A big thank you to everyone that's contributed suggestions, and to anyone that has any more suggestions on how to improve this model.
Another update: pulled the brow in, as well as the chin, and a few tweaks to remove tri's in favour od quads etc.

Ehhh... maybe extrude the lips and scale the polygons a bit for a softer look... for me it does not look female... Great modelljob and I hope that there are some more people here giving you some hints... ThanX for posting... ~{o;)

The first thing you should do is to eliminate as many of those triangles as possible. You will probably have to do most of them manually but start with Structure>Untriangulate to kill the most obvious ones. I think that many of your troubles will be resolved with quads instead of triangles (tris can cause havoc with HyperNURBS as you can see around her mouth). Keep it up!

The base of this model is great much further then I ever gotten with a face, but I do agree with cartesus about the triangles, Especially around the mouth and where the nose meets the forehead. If you get rid of these tringles your model sould look much cleaner.

This is starting to look better, however some of the features of the face still make this look like a male. My suggestions would be to push the chin way in, just make it a little slope. Push the brow in so that there is no slope from the forehead to the brow. This will force you to also push in the bridge of the nose (where it meets the brow). Basically, the chin and the brow are too pronounced, and these are male features. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing this completed!

Yes, it`s getting better and better!

Thanks to the suggestions, I think it's looking a lot more feminine. There's a lot of cleanup to be done below the neckline, but that hardly counts against the difficulty of getting the right look for the face.
