Description

Trying out some radiosity inspired by Toshio Fuji (www.c4djug.com). There are some artefacts but I think I will let them pass for now. Comments welcome :)

Thank you all, I really appreciate it! The inspiration came from an image at Toshio's site, a very simple and elegant image. Toshio had made the scene-file available for download and I got inspired to try some of what I discovered there, mainly the way he made the curtains and what material he used for them (I was as intruued by the fabric as you, archrendr :) The fabric is pretty simple, actually -- Banji in the Luminance and Tiles in the transparency. The thickness is just the Lofted curtain made editable and the bottom row of polygons disconnected and given a variation of the curtain material.

This is a cosmic piece of work. As stated on the wabpage referred to by "Trish" in his previous post, the use of light-blending and alpha radiosity picture maps, make this picture a very realistic one. Again: great work!
