Description

"He loved to watch the sunset fire up the high-rise center of ElectriCity. Drinking a glass of PureBlast(TM) in front of the panoramic window of his top-class apartment, the Hero, once dismissed the costume which protected his real identity, enjoyed the secret pleasure of being again a simple human being. At least for a short while, that's it." ***___*** Hmmm. Lots of fun making this image and writing this small, rhetoric follow-up to the story. :) ***___*** Some details: All buildings made from scratch in Bryce with booleans and/or multireplicate. Hero figure is Poser [yes, he's in there... I wonder if anyone will be able to see him at all, *sigh* :)]. Heavily postworked in PS and PSP. Render time about 26 hrs with normal AA. The whole scene is inside a volume sphere to give the "polluted/smokey" feel. ***___*** Thanx for stopping by. Any comments and/or criticism is well appreciated. --- Stefano ---

Z_Shadow, for me 26 hrs is a way good rendertime, in fact this time I didn't complain and whine as usual :) As for the Hero, the first who spot him wins a No-Prize [remember those prizes from Marvel Comics?] :-) LOL

Awesome cityscape Stefano! A real payoff to your hard work. I love those lights beaming between the buildings. Excellent overall atmosphere. Yeah 26 hours isn't that bad. =) A real accomplishment, I congratulate you!

Eccellente "cityscape". Ottimo lavoro. ;o)

Colours and lights which you used are absolutely magnificent Stefano! But Idon't see this hero....perhaps in the top of one of the towers, to the left???? But I'm not sure..

Ok Stefano, I found him. Nice Work. How you did it is a mystery to me. My best guess is that he is part of the lighting effect. He is flying from the upper right corner to the lower left corner. His head is in the area of the two shortest buildings to the left. He is easier to see in the thumbnail, than the larger picture.

Z_Shadow, you're right about the ligthing, it is mostly patient postwork. But you're wrong about the "hero" figure :) __ Okay, it was fun for me, even if it was a mistake of some sort, because in the preview renders the "hero" showed off a lot better than this. Hope it was fun to you also... Ok, none have spotted him correctly. Hm :) He's behind his panoramic window, the tiny black figure in the middle of the center cylindric tower. Uhm, the transparent cylindric room has also furniture inside. It was really a mistake, as I said, because actually I wanted him to show for the sake of overall scale. And thanx again for all your kind comments.
