i like the image...have you thought of using a cel shader on it? might coem up with an interesting comic book effect...i like the MK logo and flame good job

There ARE bump maps, Suijin IS transparent and refractive but in case you havent noticed, theres a particularly LARGE light above them and the specularity of the water surface is set high to add a bit more realism. Look at his right arm, left shin and jaw and you can see hints of the fire refracting through. Also if anyone can show me a better way to set blaze on fire PLEASE help!!! I hate this photoshop effect I had to use.

Maybe add some droplets coming from Suijin to help suggest the water.

I see, but perhaps you should make it more obvious.. I thought the flames on the water guy was reflections from the fame guy. Anyway,, If you think it is great, dont mind my oppinions. Was just trying to help =)

You can get some really nice flame effects with Hypervoxels. I've seen some also done with Sasquatch, but have never tried them myself. Keep at it, you're on to something here. :o)

Yes, I used a null with some hypervoxel applied to it for the big fire behind the dragon logo but could not get an even HALF decent result for the torches so I abandoned the particle and hypervoxel route for now
