Description
This is a preview to promote and do a market study for a product that is in the works. This is the LIGHTWAVE Exclusive Deluxe version. The only difference from the poser and bryce versions is that The lightwave version is the only one with the kanji symbols on the blade.
Theres no thumb cause renderosity's uploader is insisting that the tiny tiny thumb is too big. (at 100 px, thats bull)

That is one amazing blade model. Kinda reminds of the blade of Blade. Was it intentional to have the kanji cut through the blade? Very unique... makes the metal seem all the more dense and strong because of the daring cutouts there. Perhaps you can post another render showing the entire weapon? No scabbard?
About the thumbnail... it might be about file size rather than dimensions. I think that there's a 15kb limit on thumbnails... not sure. :o)

Im seeing star wars written all over the handles of this sword, it looks like the handle for a light baber. I do like the blade, it has good sharp lines, with good shadows. Maybe a little to morrior finished though. Over all I like the render, I just cant escape the star wars feeling.

Hehe. I am not at all surprised that you see the Star Wars influence in the hilt design. It was based on a Lightsaber Hilt that I designed. I modified the design and changed the color scheme and made it a sword. Sadly due to a massive system failure, this model was lost. I will have to rebuild it.
