Description


The famous bridge over the river Kwai (or Kwae as the Thai say). The arched parts are the original parts, the rectangular parts are replacements for the parts the allied bombed.

Nice detail. The replacement parts were made by a Japanese company amazingly. There are 11 parts in all measuring 32m per part.

It was quite hazy that day so that's why the colors of the trees in the background are a bit washed out.
