Description

As I promised on my last post "Overworked", here it is! My mecha. This is the first time I ever tried to create anything robotic, mechanical or even sci-fi so it took me some time and patience. I really learned a lot in the process, mostly patinece. =) 100% Bryce model and render on the image itself. The only postwork is on the frame and the lettering. The smaller images are WIP renders. Here are links to some of them: WIP1 WIP2 WIP5 WIP6 I will be posting more of this guy in the future. Rochr's images are a real inspiration, if not for his gallery I would not have tried this, he's a true innovator. Thanks Stefano for your support and thanks to all for stopping by.

Excellent, reminds me a little bit at one of the mechs of 'lost in space' a very nice science fiction movie. Your work is very detailed and every detail seems to make sens. So I think this guy really moves !!! Brilliant workout I really love it !

This is great! The detail is astounding! I've looked at this pic so many times, it's amazing. This has inspired me to make my own! Not as good as yours, just wanted to give credit where it was due. I especially love your pistons in the upper theigh.

Patience is a virtue and it's own reward. Gobsmacking model with nerve jangling presence.

Very original robot design, try making the robot less perfect to add realism. For example the reflections come out so crisp it is unrealistic. Even though I like your design, you should consider designing robots with functionality in the back of your mind, the cables in his right hand for example can now get entangled when it will grasp something. Great work, keep it up!

Impressive build. Too fantasmagoric, but everythings in place. No face! Just perfect. Love such king of combination:complication and siplicity in one! Bravo!
