Description

*Our True nationality is Mankind.* H.G.Wells --------------------------------------- Another creation for the current month's theme in the 2D Forum. Pencil 2B, no postwork as usual with my pencilworks. The sense of this must be selfevident, but I'll love to hear what you see in this that maybe I cannot guess. Have a great starting of the week :)

Seeing things you don't see? Ummm...I didn't eat any "special" mushrooms so i don't see any added stuff. What I DO see looks great by the way. The composition is really good, and your technique as well.

This art work is wonderful ! I suppose this represents a hot region for february, since the door is open and the man and the woman are outdoors. I don't see something special, except that they take time, waiting for something. We should do that from time to time, maybe...

this is yet another great imagery youve created here... the first, and maybe the best composition ive seen so far, with peoples face turn against the viewer, maybe its the whole expression, that the little bit of nature,(in which you obviously spend much time to extract the details...;-)looks like more than the two persons(unliteral presented by adam and eve...)from the view of the apple,(the open door, from the flat lets space to imagine such irrational stuff to me...)but it could even express the objective view of an animal, wondering how creatures can live in such creations...;D

but as i can say, overall im in love with your pencilwork,so this combined with strong messages like this for example beats all photomanips outthere... thanks for sharing this visions with us...;-) manyhugstoyou

I'ts a very seren scene...but not without it's sense of mystery...what are the two figures doing sitting outside? Why do they both seem to be looking at the same direction (towards the path), is it summer? Because the trees look a little bit stark and they're both wearing what looks like warm clothes, i'd be more inclined to think it's autumn...Great image.

Another gem of a pencil rendering.. there seems to be some sort of optical illusion with the doorway and how it seems to get wider as you get higher. Don't know if this was intentional but I still think it's cool. Great job :)

Ahhhh.........the wonderful 'opening out' of this. The movement outward, through the door's constriction into light is just perfect. Thanks for posting it!

It is a very warm drawing. :) And I can not really say what it is that I love so much about it, but I just feel peace when watching it. Probably it is exactly that warmness that surrounds and comes out from it that gives me those feelings. :) And maybe also the trees that are in the back. It looks like a thick forest and that is what I always see when I drive back to my hometown and when it is so windy and cold down here where I am now, with no trees, it is nice to get inspirations about other very beautiful but totally opposite worlds. :) You manage to give me that exactly.

You are cartainly good with a pencil! When I look at this I do get the sense of the open space outside the door. But I also get a sense of disconnection between the people. Could there be a deeper meaning going on here?

Two people looking out upon the path of life, a doorway closer then they were before, but with so much further to go. "The path of life has no yellow bricks and road less traveled sure has a lot of stones" I like the shading and the point of view, the details are very nice too.

Sitting in front of a new house, enjoying the garden, breathing fresh air, relaxing - I am sure I'll soon have this too :-) And those two see more than we who are still standing inside the house... But why are the sitting that different? Why don't they sit side by side?

I add to my comment in the forum, that I see this wonderfully harmonius couple waiting for someone coming on the path. They have been waiting for a long time, but they are sure, the person is coming and will be warmly welcomed.

To read all your impressions on this picture, and your guessing about what's going on there, has really pleased my soul. In all your notes, I see a bit of your personal sensitivity, and this makes the community beautiful, I think. That many here, before watchin and before creating with eyes and hands, tries to catch feelings and frame there with their souls. I am honoured to be part of all this. Thank you everyone :)
