I like the tunnel effect for hyperspace, it has a lot of movement. I like the overall shape of the ship but it looks like it needs either more detail or better textures.

Definately getting there Method! Tunnel is Awesome! But... The Model shouldent be mesh smoothed. Instead Try a thing called Tessalation... This adds faces without smoothing( You have the option to smooth out the faces if you want to)... Use this because its more Manual, and you can add faces to an Individual part of the ship, instead of adding faces to the whole entire thing... Well anyway Just an Idea... Try it out and see what you think!
