Pretty good Trebuchet,Volk. A couple of tips. Try making the main shaft one shaft, not split into two. And the baskets for the weights, try making it one instead of two. Did you ever see the NOVA program last year on PBS narrated by Stacy Keach on the contest to build an actual sized siege trebuchet? It was pretty interesting. One team was english, the other french. Went through how each team designed and built these machines and then built a partial wall of a castle and then showed how the two pitted against each other and how the wall was destroyed. Your model is pretty close to the machines they built on the program. Good work so far.
