This thing looks really cool, but the skin and claw textures look really 'plasticy'. If this was intended then, fine. But maybe you should consider 'dirtying' it up a bit. You could try adding a procedural texture in the diffuse channel.

I've always really liked this critter. It's not really the purplish hair, or the cool design, or the fancy claws that makes me like him... I think it's the intense expression and the shifty eyes that I like best. :o)

This is a very cool work. I suposse you make the skin bump with simple procedurals, the final effect is good. The model is really elegant.
