My first Max photo, and it's noticable. Nothign of course to my bryce Dolphins or Lighthouse, but I do like the freeedom Max offers. This was basedon teh turiorial on modling, though i had none of the files the tutorial refered too(the bitmaps, etc.) so I had to find the maps via teh webImars image courtesy of Nasa-God Bless ya Columbia). The moons Deimos and Phobos were model to the best of my ability with displacment maps of the moons themselves(also courtesy of nasa) and bitmapped with color versions. Lensflare was done in Photoshop 7. Look forward to my other Max tutorial images, which I had to texture mysefl since i have NONE of the included textures.(My friend didnt want to take the time to put them on a disk).
