that is so true and yet it's also what hardly anyone does. very simple and very nice. try to work a little on the lighting, make it a bit more dramatic. the other thing you might want to do, is remove the umm Highlight i think it's called from the Materials in Poser. it'll take away that plasticy kind of sheen from the skin and make it look a bit more real :)
