Genesis 22.
Created in Poser5, Amapi6 and Bryce5, and retouched in PhotoPaint8. A lot of learning was achieved in creating this one.

Dear Riosch, Your finishing and rendering is great. Your lighting brings the theme to life. However, watch your proportions. Abraham must either be kneeling or the size is not right. I agree that Abraham looks a little on the short side, but somehow the weird perspective adds to the style of the picture - it looks almost medieval to me - not too sure why, but I really like it! The way Abraham has his hand over his son's eyes is very touching...

My faith gets so threadbare sometimes. It is uplifting to be reminded of Abraham's absolute, unquestioning faith. Thank you for posting this!

i'm not the least bit religious, but this is still a great picture. i love the hand that's stopping the sacrifice. and i see you've used that fire thingy model of yours as well ;) you're developing very impressively, keep up the awesome work :)
