took your advice about the textures, I'm a lazy sod where textures are concerned (my pet hate). So here is version 2. XL 7, Photoshop4 and UV mapper.

DB, this is wonderful!!! You did a good job on the arches. I see you understood what I was trying to point out. I love the aged look of the stones and the mossy effect on the bottom of the square columns. Now, just work a little on the inner walls , they are still a little too new and clean looking. And add a couple of monks...LOL But well done, really nice work.

BEAUTIFUL JOB! My only suggestion would be to try some film grain to help with the scale! It looks a little like a model to my eyes, but, then again, I am off to the opticians tomorrow! VH
