Description

Rainbow Lorrikeets and Grevillia Banksii - Painted for sweet Gallimel for Christmas. Its a bit late, but better than never ;) Windsor & Newton Watercolour on 200gsm medium textured paper. ~ Thanks for viewing :D ~

Another beautiful watercolor... I have never really tried to use watercolor accept for maybe once..(can't remember.. lol) .. Usually use oil.. I think I might break out the watercolors and do a little experimenting... you are motivating me to try something different... now that says something... nice piece :)

I love the way you've drawn this, the birds look to have a texture to them that you can almost feel, and I love the vibrancy of the colours.

The fine detail work on the birds is wonderful, giving the perfect impression of of all the delciate little feathers along their bodies, without a need to overdo any of them. That and the set of them look so real. They're beautiful:)
