BIO
Because we value our privacy at home, I'm not going to say too much here about my personal life. Those that know me, already know probably too much about me. :) I am a programmer by trade and work for a company in Washington DC (even though I live in Florida). I've been programming almost as long (if not longer) than I've been doing art.
In 1988 or so, I started drawing on the C-64 which only had 64 colors (of which only 4 could be used in a certain place). There was a program called Koala Paint that I used to draw simple images with. I dreamed then of getting a 24 bit board I saw in the magazines, even though it was $2400 and I didn't even know what computer they were for. Then I got the Amiga and DCTV. Millions of colors! Yeah! Though it had troubles, it was still awesome to work with and I have found few paint programs that work as well as that one did, though Painter is pretty close. Then I finally got the elusive 24 bit computer (the IBM compatible) and I was on my way, though I still miss the old days of Deluxe Paint and DCTV.
I work in 2D and 3D with an emphasis on 2D. My work includes celebrity portraits, down home scenes, and fantasy. I also lean more toward family art so that I can show the kids, not because I have anything against the more adult works. My mediums include Poser, Bryce/Vue, Painter and Photoshop with a touch of LW (still learning on that one).
Thanks so much for viewing this page and I hope you will enjoy my work. On behalf of the whole family, have a great day...

Looks great. Iw ould add some colou-diversion to the sun to make it even more disney, but it's great as it is! :

Thanks Thomas, but I was trying to keep to the style of the poster, which strangely enough had the single color sun.

I love it for its neat balance, it seems simple, but it's emphazing the whole scen so. I love her fish body part immensively. And the profile is perfect :) Great work :)

Yet another wonderful image with the traditional Disney flair - although with your unique touch - the image shines in both selection of color and gorgeous skilled application. I never grow weary of seeing the excellent advancement of your expanding horizons in ability and elegance - both of which overflow with artistic class. This was one of the more recent Disney animated features that I saw, fully enjoyed, and can almost sing the title song - (very poorly I might add).. Absolutely a darling tribute my friend - excellently painted!

Wow really good combination beetween 3D and 2D, great effect and i imagine the file size for the alpha plane realisation for obtain no pixelisation with it. Excellent work.
SAMS3D
This really came out wonderfully, I have messed with alpha planes but still have so much to learn, this is really great though.

I think the colors here are really fantastic. It's an interesting technique with the alpha planes too.

Your work as always is a sign of beauty, love and artistic skill. The airbrushing technique is so reminescent of the 70's 80's style, which I absolutely love. I always enjoy sitting and viewing your wonderful images. Thank you.

Very pretty little image, it speaks with soft words and sings a merry tune..the little mermaid, a great favorite of Disney fans..no matter what age..!

You do have an amazing ability to impliment the combination of 2d and 3d maintaining complete integrity of the composition as a whole. I love the color variations and Ariel has excellent form and presence as she is conveyed within the shadow. Her hair looks so soft and graceful. You have accomplished something I believe Disney would be proud to own.
