I didn't like this one as much as the other desert image. This image to me is much more sexual in nature and reminds me of a woman's midrift. I still really like it. The composition feels "whole".

Where in Oregon is this? I live up by Seattle. Its so beautiful! I sometimes like being very solitary. Being able to be by myself is very beautiful to me. This picture reminds me of that.

Thank you both very much for your comments. I shot this in the Oregon Sand Dunes National Recreation Area on the coast, down in the southern third of the state, a stretch of about 50 miles of beautiful sand dunes astride the ocean. Worth a visit!

really nice texture & color- since i read woman's middrift, i see it & find the shot even more compelling... don't fall in the navel!

This is really beautiful. [I visited this area maybe 15 years ago, on a very brief drive through, so did not explore much. Wrote it off at the time as noisy collection of dune buggies. Looks like I missed the really good parts.]
