I feel like I am falling backwards when I look at the pic from bottom to top. Cool shot. Did you paste two pics together to get so much sky?

No pasting or any other similar digital manipulation. This is a scan of a 4x6 print with minor Photoshop work to clean up dust and scratches. That's just the way the sky looked! :-)

I also got lost in the clouds. It was like lying back on the ground and looking into the sky for shapes. The mountains are very striking and remind me that I am a part of the ground.

This is one of my favorite pictures ever. I feel very uplifted and free looking at it. The lighting is great and the contrast between the mountains and the sky is amazing.
