Description
Leaving Home
This image shows the USS Independence leaving earth on its journey to the red planet carrying the Mars Lander USS Cumberland. The ship is being powered by a new propulsion system; the Variable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma Rocket (VASIMR), and has cut the travel time by more than 5 months. The image was created in Bryce 5 from scratch, all concepts and designs by me. The starfield was created in Universe. Thanks again for viewing and commenting on my work.
