Description

"All men who have achieved great things have been great dreamers." --Orison Swett Marden As a follow up from my last work, I tried to make a film-photo-realistic image of a baseball outside in the woods. A bit dirty and resting just beyond the park fense. I added mega depth of feild and a specific focal lenght to imitate what this image would have looked like had someone taken a photograph under the same conditions with a 35mm camera and variable high speed lens. The grain is to enhance the film look. ** Technical Notes ** Premium Render with Radiosity Lighting and Depth of Field. Total Render time was 3 hour and 55 minutes. All the trees in the background are real models rendered out to give depth. Even though they're out of focus, I wanted a bit of realizim in the shadowing. All compiled in Bryce 5.0 Baseball object is from Createandshare.com So yeah.. anyways my first attempt at photo film realizim. I hope you like it. Thanks for taking a look.

Obviously, GREAT d.o.f. blurring. To do it to this degree, and still have an interesting picture in both composition and theme is difficult, imo. I always love the less complicated pics that still affect me the most. VERY good ART here.

well done but the thumbnail has better framing than the original ; not sure about the texture : be careful whith the dirt that is not very realistic.
