Description

"If you can dream it, you can do it. " --Walt Disney This image was alot of fun to do because I had the opportunity to again, mash the Depth of Feild into oblivion. Except this time, I wanted the DOF to be only suplimental to the image. I've pulled the focus ring of the image directly into the center of the primary flower. I've added harsh shadows to give the peddles depth and contrast which I think makes the over all image quite stricking. ** Technical Notes ** Premium Render with Radiosity Lighting and Depth of Field. Total Render time was 2 hour and 34 minutes. All the trees in the background are real models rendered out in full scale. Created and rendered in Bryce 5.0. No photoshop touch-ups on this one. Flowers created by me but based on exsisting models from 3DROOM.NET I hope you like it. Thanks for taking a look and commenting.

The flower is definitely the center of attention in this image. You have achieved maximum effect by blurring the background and the results are excellent. I enjoyed viewing very much.

wow-excellent image-I LOVE the use of blurring, it fits perfectly with the large tree, also the flowers, I love the pedals on them. great work on the grass also! and last but not least a clean render-you can make just about anything look awesome with radiosity! excellent work-cant wait to see more.

Xcuse, but what do u call "radiosity lighting" in Bryce ?? Is that what Bryce call "true ambiance" ? true ambiance is far away from radiosity, and the only way I know to fake radiosity with Bryce, is to put lightdomes (at least 100 radial lights) directly in the scene. But your scene is very cool, and the DOF rocks ! Great work

Lolal: Actually, in Bryce there is an option under the sky palette controls that allow the scene to be light by Radiosity filter. It pretty much boils down to a volume lighting effect that adds soo much. Of course it slows your render time down greatly. - True Ambiance isn't the same thing at all.. Its a Premiere Rendering Option that basically bevels the over-all look of the image :) Thanks for the nice comment :)
