Description

After reading a tutorial in Computer Arts on faking 3D in Photoshop I had a client wanting a cut-out of a TV. With only a small .jpg as example. I am, actually, a bit proud of the result. Being completely self-taught in art and all. That's why I upload it here. Maybe it helps other people to realise that one does not always has to use 3D apps to create photoreal images. Most of what you see is made in Adobe Illustrator. In Photoshop I actually used a lot of layer effects, but in non-conventional ways. For that I used tips I found on the net when looking for tutorials on Apple Aqua-look. Changing the inner-glow to a kind of edge-reflection effect for instance. The end product will be 60 centimeters, so the actual file is a much larger 200 dpi file.

Now that's what one calls "wide screen", hehe. The subtilty is what's reflected on the screena skylight no doubt, perhaps on Mars? Splendid!
