Description

Daniel Fogelberg has long been my favorite music artist. I hope this portrait exhibits the honor that is due him for the many wonderful years of music we have been graced with, and I hope this portrait brings back the "keepsake" moments of your life! Enjoy! Cheryl The Innocent Age by Daniel Fogelberg Capture the moment, carry the day Stay with the chase as long as you may Follow the dreamer, the fool and the sage Back to the days of the innocent age Storybook endings never appear They're just someone's way of leading us here Waiting for wisdom to open the cage We forged in the fires of the innocent age The sketch was done with 4H & 5H pencil, .3H, .5B and .7B Mechanical Pencil. The postwork: inclusive of the Gradient Background, the Rose and Border...was accomplished through PSP7.

Two steps forward and one step back. You've made him loom into the consciousness in a very big way.

Like our friend 'gallimel' - I too am unfamiliar with Daniel Fogelberg - and at first confused him with Dan Foggarty, obviously silly of me. Nevertheless Cheryl, the drawing itself is of excellent quality, and for a pleasant change, a nice size for seeing the amount of detailed work you invested in this lovely render. From upload to upload, your skills and growing abilities keep improving, but that's only natural for a lady who is in love with art. If a person doesn't love what they do, no matter the task, they will never improve. You will always improve because you draw from deep within your heart. Beautifully done young lady!

Very cool image (as usual). I especially love how the guitar turned out. Hey, I'm a guitar guy... what can I say?
