Description

*"And there we are, I'll speak about the metaphisical essence of things.By deduction we can state that everything has two essences: one is the common shape and value that everyone sees and trust, the other, is the ghosthly, or metaphisical shape and value that only rare individuals can look at and apperceive, in their moment of massive abstraction of mind and spirit.Just like the essence of a body would appear suddenly crossed by X-Rayes, they can get then the reality in things beyond things themeselves."* Giorgio De Chirico - Subject: Music is an Ocean of Vibes. Pure pencils. -- Giorgio De Chirico uses often the word "Metaphisical" in his scripts. The word has its roots in the philosophy essays of Andronico from Rodi who assigned the name at those ideas of Aristotele talkin about the "first causes" of reality which are "after" (in greek, meta) and someway beyond those about the "natural and toucheable things" (in greek, physik

As I saw this firstly it feels a bit strange to find something not said already from all these posts :) But I did tell you a bit yesterday.. :) But here we go anyway...I think this one would be something that I would have loved to make too if I would have been good at drawing :P It speaks alot about what I feel too. I love the whole idea of this genre. as I love being complex and 'deep'. ;) to put it in a general context. about the drawing in itself it is very nice to see your 'old school' sketching and colouring. :) It really gives the entire piece a sort of softness that goes very well in hand with the deeper and metaphorical approach of the idea behind the drawing itself. :) And it totally mix with your own carachter and love for music and water. can't really find anything even remotely negative to comment on :) but that never happens anyway so.. ;) even though it seems I will forever be the only one seeing the mini-Mel down at the right of the coral reeves.. :P

Very Beautiful work, Meli! I think the Violins (or are they Cellos, they're too big to be violins LOL) are very pretty, like the ruins of an ancient pirate ship! A very Pretty Drawing! I Like it a lot!

Let me take a guess: The violins represent the music which is in the mind and heart of the diver. Anyway, terrific drawing!
