Well, I am not a photographer, but I was scanning today some pictures of Rome to upload next week into my website and I found this one, of this cat I wanted to frame in the Eternal Town. You might maybe know that Rome is one of the most "cat loving" towns in the world, and that among its ancient ruins many of the beloved felines hang around like Kings and Queens indeed.
As I saw this picture though, I got a certain sense of atmosphere, so I wanted to share it with you all.

the shot is taken in December , so it's winter Lucia, you're right :) And thank you man.. I hope teh Photography Community won't think I want to invade here with my crappy pics because be sure.. i won't :) But I loved to share the lil cat as well, in the week of cats ;)

I'm sure there is a certain sport in presenting oneself silhouetted against a ruin. Playing a hunch can be as much fun as the most imperial pose.

As I told you earlier, that lady at the left is making this picture a real proper photograph. Without her the entire piece would look a bit cut. Which almost all 'normal' pictures do though by anyone..there are the tiny details that makes the biggest impacts. Cute cat too. Reminds me of Simon. :)

So, there is more people than me beeing owned by a Simon. I am sure that this cat is king of the place, his pose tell that. The whole pic is a wonderful shot, and I agree that the lady to the left is contributing a lot.

I love that the cat is the focal point among those marvelous columns, the ornate black fence and the beautiful archeture in the background. I can see why you picture the atmosphere in this photo. Beautiful Meli!
