Excellent work on this render. I was Aircrew on CH-47D's for several years, before I transitioned into UH-60's. You've really caught the atmosphere of how we fight. We own the Night. Army Aviation 87-98

Excellent artwork!!! I hope that this chopper is bringing the troops home and not in a suicide mission of an unjustified war!!!

Even though Im 100% opposed to war, I fully support the troops and their mission. I hope they get the job done with soon so they can all come home safely. Semper Fi!

A masterstroke, Spook, intentional or not, pro- or anti-war aside! Quoting from Erich Fromm (The Anatomy Of Human Destructiveness) : "War is exciting, even if it entails risks for one's life, and much physical suffering. Considering that the life of the average person is boring, routinized and lacking in adventure, the readiness to go to war must be understood as a desire to put an end to the boring routine of daily life - and to throw oneself into an adventure, the only adventure, in fact, that the average person may expect to have in his life." This image simultaneously captures the adrenalin rush of the night attack, and the ominous feeling at the back of your mind that you're risking life and limb for the rush. Superb!!!
