Description

*Ay, in the very temple of delight, Veiled Melancholy has her sovran shrine.* J.Keats ---------------- Well, I am not a photographer, but I was scanning today some pictures of Rome to upload next week into my website and I found this one, of this cat I wanted to frame in the Eternal Town. You might maybe know that Rome is one of the most "cat loving" towns in the world, and that among its ancient ruins many of the beloved felines hang around like Kings and Queens indeed. As I saw this picture though, I got a certain sense of atmosphere, so I wanted to share it with you all. Enjoy :) (hope you will.. :)

Reminds me of my cat Oliver. She was literaly Queen of our barnyard. All the other cats knew better than to irritate her. ^_^ I love the pic, the cat the ruins, lol, tow of my favorit things in one place.

Sharp, clear forms on an overcast day...the last of the Tarquins and the red-haired wig of some later triumphator come to mind. King? King? Or the rex sacrorum and a brooding cat named Cola di Rienzi? Great snap!

its like the feline king has rejected the lady'd offer of cat food, probaly dry anyway. i find this photo hialrious. th ewoman holding her hands to her head as if crying, and the cat, I mean king, just looking at her, waiting for her to leave. great framing, lovely.
