Description

*"And there we are, I'll speak about the metaphisical essence of things.By deduction we can state that everything has two essences: one is the common shape and value that everyone sees and trust, the other, is the ghosthly, or metaphisical shape and value that only rare individuals can look at and apperceive, in their moment of massive abstraction of mind and spirit.Just like the essence of a body would appear suddenly crossed by X-Rayes, they can get then the reality in things beyond things themeselves."* Giorgio De Chirico - Subject: Music is an Ocean of Vibes. Pure pencils. -- Giorgio De Chirico uses often the word "Metaphisical" in his scripts. The word has its roots in the philosophy essays of Andronico from Rodi who assigned the name at those ideas of Aristotele talkin about the "first causes" of reality which are "after" (in greek, meta) and someway beyond those about the "natural and toucheable things" (in greek, physik

Beautiful... I never thought I could like A "metaphisical" picture... (well, it's not really true, there are a few De Chirico I like, just a few...) But this one I really like!

I think I see Meli swaying in the crowd at a concert as if pulled by seas. She shines a light on the star to find the moment of the song. The treasure then appears.

Another wonderful image Meli! This image makes me think of how I feel when I am really tired (mentally and physically) and listening to classical music. I simply lie back and close my eyes and before I know it I am flowing with the music... as if it were a current carrying me to a better place. Wonderful job:D

This is a picture that makes you think, which means it goes beyond being just a painting. Oh, like the colors too!

It looks very vivid and colorful. Of course the horrible colored scuba gear is unexcusable :p I'll be honest with you...I have no idea what the image is about, nor do I know anything substantial about metaphysics...therefor...I see it as a portrayal of the resonance of waves, the symphony of water.

hey Syn.. taht's the colour of my real scuba dress ;) you cruel... have it against Diane's company which created it that pinky :P :P :P Kidding, I mean.. of course that colour is quite strong there and it breaks the serenity of teh whole piece. Which is right too: methaphisical suggest a strange sense of untold and unfitting everytime :) Glad you all are liking this.. :) Thank you so much :)

Music, like waves, washes over us and surrounds our being, not only from the outside but the inside too. Until we feel completely immersed in it's being and are as one. Nice work Meli. I enjoyed viewing the image and reading your test very much.

Wonderful Meli. I love the violins (my father was a violin-maker)and the symbolism in this. I am sure the movements of the see make the instruments sing unheard. And life is all waves surrounding and making us. Thanks for your essay to. I am glad they will be collected in the forum.

Uh OH! Watch out, the violins are out for your BLOOD! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Whoa! That was too close, the strings on the neck almost got me that time. Who's the crazy, sick f*ck swimming with the violins? Is that Light Fly or the missle? It had better be in order to escape those melicious evil stratavariouses. WATCH OUT!

My heart is beating wildly in my chest as the picture scrolls down. I love the repetition of the theme of the cellos or violins. This piece speaks to me deeply. Wow! I love it!!!!!!
