Description

Minor postwork in Photoshop: Hue adjustment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sometimes I need an escape from my 12' x 12' dorm room. Being the epitimy of the broke college student, I have to find a source of either free or very inexpensive entertainment. Last semester I discovered what has now been deemed "The Lake." The Lake is actually a series of lakes where many spend their afternoons fishing. Although I love fishing, I usually go to the Lake to take a walk and clear my head. Walking trails lead off in every direction. A stroll is always full of wildlife: alligators, snakes, hoot owls. It is an escape from the pressures, problems, and hustles of life. -------------------I pushed my way through an over grown trail winding through the swamp. The trail opened up on the bank of the lake where a bench overlooked the water. What I find. I like to sit and watch the wildlife. It puts beauty back into the meaning of life.--------------------------------Where is your place of escape? Where do you go when you need to just get away for a while? Let's share with one another. Maybe you even have a pic of it. I would love to hear about it.

I know what it's like to find a nice quiet, peaceful place to sit and ruminate. Really like the shot and the postwork compliments the image...gives it a dreamy mood...well done.

Very cool work, I'm waiting to see a unicorn come running up. I have a couple places I vent at it depends what kind of venting I need to do. Sounds like a cool spot, looks pretty cool to. Can't wait to see some more.

indeed, a magical place you have here- mine? that would be in finding the time to lose myself in my art for i live in a beautiful place & am lucky enough to work in one too :)
