Hi everybody! I'm so glad to be back in the gallery! :)

This is the image I presented for this month's Bryce Forum Challenge... and it's the first one cooked by my New One :)
Some info/details: Rendered at 1100x880 (reduced later in PS) with DOF and SoftShadows at 64rpp, postwork in PS for color correction and a bit of glow, rendertime about 40hrs. [Way good! Out of curiosity, I did a test on my Old One and the estimate was over 5 days!]
Additional info: The pizza is a lattice with a photo texture of a slice of salame (!) applied. The ants are the organic-textured version of my BooleAntz. The chairs are by TonyLynch, the coke can is from 3Dcaf

Very nice... I like the "hangover" feeling of the extra DOF and skewed camera angle. The floor too is very well done, looks exactly like my kitchen linoleum.

At least they aren't roaches! Like the DOF and POV.

It's the spring. The ants go out again of their den ;0) The DOF is very successful. As always, textures and lights are excellent

What do you mean "Life after the Party"? Looks to me like the party is still going on! The morning after pizza is always the best! Anyway, this is excellent work and I enjoyed viewing it.

Simply amazing. You have spared no detail here. I love the pizza! I'm glad you were able to use the model. Just an idea, if you do it again, maybe you could have 2 different positions for the ants, so they're not all the same. This is a 10!!

wonderful image stefano! Very good challenge work too! The floor texture might be a bit too small compared to the ants (or the ants a bit too big compared to the rest)?

Eccezionale soprattutto il punto di vista e l'effetto profondita'. Naturalmente anche l'idea, nonostante io provi una notevole repulsione nei confronti degli insetti ;o))) Bello anche l'immancabile pacchetto di Camel e, suppongo, anche il liquido sul pavimento, benche' sia poco definito. Really great work on the ants and coke spill. A little bit dizzing for me on the DOF, but extremely well done. The textures are great. I hope you enjoy your new comp. Congradulations on an excellent render.

Reminds me of my college dorm :) All aspects of this are superb. The POV/DOF/etc. Love the textures and the idea is simply hillarious! I gotta vote for this one even if it boots me out of the top 20 :(
