Great! Looks very realistic, want to see a anim!

I would love to animate it but the sheer size is beyond my desires......

The most fun was when we got to play with the vehicle (in the name of taking measurements)The perfect minivan......

The M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle the perfect minivan? Well at least you said it's perfect. It should be it was designed by my dad. He also designed the M1-A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank (The most vicious perfect tank there is to date). I like the pic. I'll post some gun testing photos in the photo gallery when I can scan them off the plaques.

Well... the Bradley the M2A2 is a mean machine However current upgrades have improved it. Desert Strom helped identify some of it's shortcoming and have made current versions M2A3, Linebaker, etc, much better. As for the Abrams The M1a1 was a gas hog teh M2a2 is better but still requires much to much fuel for effect forward staying power. granted, it has very hi-tech and sophisticated systems, which make it a highly potent weapon, but The current "best" tank is the russian t-80. Not because of technology, but because of manuvuerabilty, forward placement, (much better fuel economy) highly effective armour system, potent main gun, and operability. It is built simply. It does it's job and does it well. Regrettably, we could learn something from it. The powerpack on the Abrams simply requires too much maintainence, too much fuel, which in turn leads to too many support personnel. I'm not knocking the job the designers did. Frankly, I'd much rather be in an Abrams than a t-80 (way to small for me, I almost got stuck getting out of the turret) But we nned to make the Abrams more effecient. Thanks for the comments! I'd love to see your images.

I agree with you web3dman. I was a loader/driver on an M1-A1 in Fulda WGermany back in the mid 80's and it seemed like we were always broke down. Mechanics and slave cables all the time plus tons of fuel and lots of batteries. I was also there when the Bradley was introduced, I still have a promotional sticker from the event. They were awsome at first and of course all the "bugs" had to be worked out. Both of the vehicles have great fire power and can be very destructive if driven by a 19yr old new guy and a 25yr old Lt. at the commanders station. I'm glad that your making models of these vehicles, they're great. ps...I almost rolled over in the M1 but was saved by a big rock while sliding sideways down a hill, A Sgt. friend of mine accidently got his head between the gun tube and the turret and had his jaw crushed, another friend of mine accidenty was standing under the gun tube durning a tank self test and got hit on the head (I had to explain to the nurse at the med station that there are two guns on a tank and he got hit by the big one) even though he was passed out I could not stop laughing...sorry... and during 85'Reforger a guy in my unit had his hand blown apart by a blank granade in the granade launcher. Someone should put a warning sign on the side of these vehicles hahaha!!

I hear you. I have gotten to know the t72 quite personally and even thought it is dirt simple, the gunner and the breach of that smoothbore are way too close. There are a bunch of one-armed ex-gunners out there. So, we may complain but hey when you got the big boy toys, you get all the hurt that comes along with no?
