Simple image for a simplistic notion: that war can be wished away by the naive. The Saddams, Hitlers, Stalins, Lenins and Maos of the world depend upon such naivete. Also, the notion that it is courageous merely to post an image is bizarre. What? Your feelings might get hurt? You risked getting your feelings hurt? That's courage? No, courage is risking your life to save another or to preserve their liberty. It takes courage to stand up to tyrants, murderers and thugs. Our society as a whole, and Renderosity in particular, is dependent on freedom of expression. This is not possible under dictators. Read "The Captive Mind" by Czeslaw Milosz (winner of Nobel/Literature). He describes the impossibility of expressing artistic thought within a totalitarian system that attempts to control what is published and what is not. How I object to the self-righteousness of those who stand in the way of liberation of others, seemingly unaware of the cost, in blood and treasure, of securing their own.
