Refurbished my ant model, adding more details and texturing it through Bodypaint. Log texture is from the NVIDIA Dev Tex pack & HDR from devebec. Thank you for viewing!

The eye seems needs something of an edge; a connection to the head. You should add a light with (area)shadow to get the extra edge in realism!

The ant looks perfect. The stick it's on needs some displacement or bump. Nice work!
