Description
-In which Tam and his son, Rand, have impromptue visitors for the evening.-
I could quote the -Wheel of Time- (series by Robert Jordan) scene this image comes from as I usually do but there are too many discrepancies: The trollocks should be wearing chainmail and spikes (I prefer them nude cause they're sexy.). Their arms should be covering their eyes 'cause they hate any sort of light (Well if they cover their eyes we can't see just how sexy they are!!). Rand's shirt should be white (Blue is nicer. I like a man in blue.). And Rand's father should be stepping away from the table (That messes up the composition of my scene.). Honestly, you'd think the author would realize these things before writing the chapters!
At any rate, here it is for what it's worth. I've been working on it for several days (mostly texturing, posing, texturing again, tearing apart and redoing, etc.) and now need an Advil... or a drink.
Some post in Photoshop but not much except slight work on the hair, fur and clothing. Fire and flames created with Eye Candy because I just can't get it right in Vue.
Credits:
Renderosity Marketplace: Charming Woodsend Cottage by Ironheart. Hunky, sexy creatures are Minotaur and Daemon by Sixus. Kromekat Ultimate Woodland and Stones of the Shire Textures
Daz: Michael character, Viking Pack, Tunic, Wedge and Wonderwedge Hair, Questor swords, Buck. SS Texture tools (chair fabric and Rand's pants), Digital Muse Boudoir and Venetian Bedroom (stucco, floor tile, some wood textures and armchair). Chairs from a DAZ Poser Content CD.
Candle Holder from 3D Cafe, I think.
Rand's boots and the Torch Chandelier are available in Renderosity free stuff.
Poser World: Pirate pants and shirt.
Thanks for taking a peek!

You almost have enough scenes for a graphic novel...keep 'em coming, they're great!

I think this entire series is outstanding; wonderful lighting and action in this. And you've done a wonderful job with Ironhart's cottage.

A stunning scene - Ive not seen many scenes that really get to capture "action" and "movement" in a still image, but this is definitely one of them... Dont know the wheel of time series - is this some books??? Anyhow: If the books (or movies???) are like your pictures I will surely love them...

Hi all and thank you for your kind comments! For those of you who don't know, the Wheel of Time is a series of 10 adventure books (around 1000 pages each) by Robert Jordan, and it's still not finished. Kind of Tolkenesque and great fun to read. They're also chock full of graphical inspiration which, as you know, incites me to create more and more WOT fan art. Don't let the book covers turn you off (cringes), the books are well written and have great content. Hey, am I hooked or what? Yup.
