Description

I was recently asked to create some views of the sites and great cities described in the Wheel of Time series. This one is Rhuidean, a phantom city in the Aiel waste, which is surrounded by a thick fog even though it is situated in the desert. No one ever goes there save for a chosen few, for it holds secrets not meant to be known to all. I wanted to create some terrains that have a Monument Valley sort of ambiance and I'm happy with these as well as with that default canyon texture, which goes well with them. Credits: My thanks goes to DeadHead who graciously lent me that gorgeous sky!!! He has many available in Free Stuff. Victoria 3, Viking pack sword, WonderWedge hair are from DAZ. The Wasteland Warrior outfit is from PoserWorld. The tents were created by moi in Truespace 3. Thanks for taking a peek!

Thank you for your kind comments! pimpol: Si ils sont traduits!! On ne peut pas les retrouver tous a la FNAC en ligne mais il y en a sur Amazon France. La premiere tombe s'appelle "L'oeil du monde", je crois. En tout cas vs pouvez faire un recherche pour Robert Jordan pour les retrouver. :-)

Tres, tres joli! J'ai regarde sur tous les autres images dans ta galerie et je suis impressione - tous sont tres, tres beaux :-) Mois je n'etais pas tres satisfait avec la texture canyon, car selon moi, elle est trop reguliere, je y ajoute un peu de turbulence, tu peut voir le resultat sur: http://www.graphique3d.republika.pl/ galerie 1, 6eme image (c'etait il y a tres longtemps, encore en Vue 2) :-) Bisoux de Cracovie (Pologne) :-)

This and all your other "Wheel of Time" illustrations are great! I like this one the best, though. One small negative note, though; should you remake this picture, I would like to see a different city scape--perhaps one more "desert" appropriate? Just a (hopefully) helpful suggestion.
