Description

This was a digital reproduction of a William Bougeureau painting entitled "Madame La Comtesse de Cambaceres". I loved the image, but with all due respect to the Comtesse, I thought the model was unbearably horse-faced, so I decided to change the head. I used my neice Heather as the model for the head, but kept most of the rest the same, except for some minor jewelry changes. This was hand painted in Photoshop with a Wacom.

Ahhh - my dear sweet friend - for a lady with no inspiration, this dear heart makes you way way off base. I can count only on both hands with fingers to spare, the number of artists on Renderosity or anywhere else for that matter - who can sit down with a digital tablet and create a work of art as beautiful as this. Your interpretation of this painting is far more comely and even feminine than the original, although with respect to the painter, it was well executed, and as a commission, had little choice over the person shown in the painting. I am always in awe of your work my friend, and never tire of seeing what comes from those highly skilled, creative hands of yours. Excellent in every way.
