the background looks a bit too rough and smudgy for my liking, but the figures are outstanding. good likeness :)

Yes I know the background is smudgy. I'm not really good with landscapes so I concentrated mostly on the people. But thank you for comments. :)

I was beginning to enjoy the wonderful and very deserving comments you had received on this masterful render my friend - then I came upon McF's rather inappropriate and negotiable comment concerning a smudgy background, and it being too rough for their liking; yet upon visiting their gallery, find exactly the same smudgy, rough backgrounds that they don't like...m-mmm, sounds a bit like jealousy to me, as not one image measures up to the quality and class that yours do LadyJane. This is one of your absolute best and as Casagrande accurately reiterated - "Worthy of being displayed in a museum," - no truer words have been uttered.

I agree. Brilliant painting skills. I understand completely why you would emulate Bouguereau too, since his figure work is beyond compare... and lo and behold, you replicate it incredibly well!! I have a Bouguereau repro on my hard drive, and you've inspired me to get finishing it. Stunning piece!!

First, I would like to apologize for never seeing your wonderful gallery full of extremely talented work. This piece is like all others, a step above in digital painting and technique. Your technique motivates me to become better. I cannot say enough of your wonderful gallery except I will be coming back again and again to view your work. You are another mentor. Thank you.

"what for I do this?", because I am a true artist that loves the work of the old masters, and I because it gives me pleasure. Why do you manipulate photos and think you're anywhere near as good or better than me?

All this is no convincing.... This your business.. If the person opens bank to make copies atop of monetary kopjur-it name the thief. Good Luck ! Also do not make laugh me, that you do in PS all reproductions from zero. To great pleasure I know as it is done. You use a ready picture to create a picture??? I have not gone mad yet...

uuuuuups bevore i leave your gallery (cause i must back to work - grrrrr-), i must comment this - wow - this is a masterpiece - stunning work - beautyful sensual szene - the background is not smudgy - it is not necesarry to do more detail in the background, so my eyes went there where they should be, at the mainfigure itself - the madona - she is soooo lovely and beautyful - just excellent - just excellent ---. see you
