Description
As Im into small creatures for the moment, I wanted to do a butterfly. The body was point modeled and hair dep.. used to add fur. The wings are alpha planes with real wings (a cheat from my part =). The flower I made from my own mind, not finding the correct referene I wanted, so it look's a bit arificial. All parts painted with Bodypaint (except the wings ofcours).The lighting is HDRI based using probes from devebec.

This is awesome! If you ever need flower reference photos I'd be happy to send you some....also check inertia stock at: http://stock.d2.hu/. Nonetheless with or without ref. you did a great job, I love insects! The texture on the butterfly's wing is amazing.
