Description

Some fanatical extremist christians want to destroy The Mosque of The Rock so that they may re-build The Temple of David on its original site. That would (they think)fulfill the requirements for Armageddon to occur. Then they will rise to heavan in The "Rapture" and the rest of us will suffer the destruction they have created.Unfortunatly for us all, Bush is one of those people.

very lame attempt at art this is not even satire. If you had made it funny you might have gotten a point across.

I am not sure what point is attempted here, if it is cultural, prothetic, religious, political or left-wing extremist radical. But I do know that all constabulary [law officers] wear their badge on the left side over their hearts.

This is obviously a political statement --not satire, and its a poorly illustrated political statement. I am so sick of "no blood for oil" and other rhetoric that paints George W. Bush as some sort of fanatic trying to destroy or remake the world in his own image. Get over it already... the man is not that smart, ambitious, or powerful. His decisions are formed --not by him-- by his advisors, numerous non-appointed political figures, and world leaders from allied nations. If he seems like he's on some sort of power trip, its because he's reacting to world events and implementing the decisions given to him with a healthy dose of American (and Texan) pride. Really... he's not trying to dominate, subjugate, or eliminate anyone.

Well, you've managed to get yourself a ranking of "Hmmm", not because your art is bad; the scene actually is rather well composed, and certainly has enough detail to satisfy any reasonable person. As to the message, I happen to agree...not necessarily on the religious point however. The most likely scenario is that the war was concocted to draw the attention of the American citizenry away from the administration's woefully inadequate (and in some cases even nonexistent) domestic policies. In any case, America along with most of the world will be paying a heavy price for this folly for years to come. Thanks for sharing this image.

Hee hee. It is excellent art as is demonstrated by the reactions it drew. The comments are high on emotion but low on content.Thrudjelmer for instance seems to be responding to some other picture, or perhaps lumps all who's views he dislikes together into a single convenient group. You do not have to like it, but if it make you feel even revultion it is art.If the feelings are strong its good art. As to the badge, the "Der Dubya" character comes from my cartoon "AMERIKA In The BUSHES" and it and the toy gun are intended to look childish. If you do not like the views i expressed here you will hate my cartoons. http://lavastream.tv

You get my "excellent" vote for the content and clarity of political insight. And there is nothing at all "healthy" as some fool stated in what is being idiotically refered to as acts of "pride". BRAVO!!!

I give you an "Excellent" vote as well. I think Bush has really made a miscalculated error in removing the human element form the war and making it a battle of religions. He would have been better off to keep his religious convictions private insteed of devulging them to the media. I would think that is elementary-level politics but that's just me. I agree with jerryboyd though in that I don't see a concrete attempt on Bush's part to subjugate anyone. Just a lot of political mistakes that coming from saying the wrong statements.
