Description


This is a small update with a no postwork. Created with subdivision surfaces and rendered a area light and multiple point lights.

very nice indeed. What type of texturing method are you using? painting the textures in a paint program and then map them as planar image maps on a certain axis? I gotta get into organics more :) keep it up dude!

Fantastic! What method(s) are you using for the actual head? The texturing is great; the scar and "forehead anomalies" in particular.

I used a mix of box modelling,poly by poly modelling, rail extrusion and subdivision surfaces. A good tip for anyone wanting to model extra details in a model is to use the smooth shift and bandsaw tools (bandsaw can be found in the plugins section just add it to your layout)

Good grief! This is amazing work. And all along I thought you were using some really intense UV mapping techniques. You've just been creating really beautiful texture images and then mapping them intelligently. I feel like kicking myself... Thank you for the tips!
