Description

Mars was done exclusively in Bryce. The comet is a Bryce/PSP hybrid. The nucleus and inner coma was modelled in Bryce. The tail is a composite of several real cometary tails, with airbrushing and plugins. Considering the brightness and apparent size of this comet, I don't think I'd like it to come too near the Earth.

Stunning render. That planet is sooooo detailed and now to the real beauty of the image: the comet. Your idea and talent with postwork is second to none. Tremendous job!

Neat. Really. One of the neatest, clearest space renders in a long while. Excellent all the way.
