Here we see two hard-working astronauts up at the crack of dawn to begin another day of exploration on Mars. You may notice a similarity between the terrain here on Mars and that depicted in "Lunar X". Strange, isn't it. All of the terrain is by Bryce 5. There are something like ten terrain maps in the rendering to add variety to the scene. Most of the rocks are the protruding tops of terrains. The sky is by Terragen, since I like its skies much better. A distance mask was created in Bryce to blend in the sky. As in "Lunar X", the astronauts are actually photos of an "action figure" (NOT DOLL!) by Dragon Models, carefully - I hope - composited into the scene with Paint Shop Pro.
