Description

This is my second WIP posting of my Scifi-scene. It's not done yet, I still need to add more details such as dirt, dust, signs and other stuff that make a cool Blade Runner scene. :) It's my third creation with Carra 2. I'm still learning the soft. Everything was done in Carrara. The little fighting dudes were pictures from Hemera Photo Objects. The textures can be found at 3DCafe. I changed the contrast in Photoshop. Note: it's also my third fully 3D scene, so please be a little gentle with me hehehehe Thanx for viewing. All comments are more than welcome. And thanx to all the Carrara Pros for their help.

Really like the pov you have chosen and the texturing/lighting done to this point, will try and keep an eye out to see how this continues to progress. Nice work in my humble opinion.

Wow, what a difference a bit o' texturing an' lighting makes, kick boxers are a nice touch '-)

Excellent industrial-scape and textures, very convincing. But a bit of advice, you NEED to get rid of the dudes!!!!! ;)

Really nice render. And I'd have to disagree with Tuttle - the "dudes" are clearly the focus of the image, and your whole composition is geard to lead us to them. They add a human element, as well. Really impressive.

It's a real shame that this hasn't gotten more comments, seems to me that some of the best stuff gets missed. Although the dudes do look a little out of place, the rest of the scene rocks though.

Great POV and cool textures throughout. Good luck finishing your scene.

Thank you guys and gals for your comments. As you know, I startedto work on this scene to learn the soft. And the more I learn a new trick, the more stuff I want to add into the scene. There are a lot of elements that need to be improved. More details, better texture. I'll try to post some more shot of the WIP. Thank you guys again!! :)

Cool! Dirt rules! And rust too! The textures near the 'camera' look a bit too stretched or plastic, some depth of field blurring could fix this. And helps to point the focus to the kick boxers. Which IMHO could be replace by a silhouet of some contemplating blade runner anytime (I get some Batman pictures in my head). Nice way of getting to learn the app! Keep it up!

Dammit, why aren't I this good? Maybe needs a little rust, but I like it even without. Just one thing, the alpha channel on the one in black is off- they've got a white outline that shows up against the black.
