Work Pod (USS Abbott)
These images show the work pod the USS Abbott, 1 of 2 pods that will be attached to the USS Constellation. The pod is design for mining asteroids that lie between Mars and Jupiter. This will be the first attempt at obtaining raw material locally to use for fuel and life support for plan deep space missions. This is a continuing work in progress showing all aspects of design and building of the spaceship USS Constellation. Also I have not forgotten about my series showing the Lander USS Cumberland during all phases of decent through the Martian atmosphere to the surface, I will have some new posting this weekend. Uss Abbott ? What happened to the Cumberland ? Take us to the surface ! Oops,....just read the image note,.......nevermind. The only thing that bothers me about this construct,.....open the pod bay doors Hal,.....I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.
