Description

sorry for the repost... this is how the picture should have looked if I hadn't have rushed things to get it finished. Thanks to everyone who commented on the first one. Bryce rendered - no postwork. Thanks to SAM's3D for the rowboat, pump and barrel... ocddoug for the sky... solemnchaos for tree settings for some of the trees... Frank Allen for the ground mat.... I think that's it. :) Thank you for viewing.

This is a marvelous image! The quality of light and the subtlety of colour give it a real "painterly" feel that is so unBryce like. The vegetation is perfectly textured and it's a fantastic composition. Only one very minor critcal observation (and probably this is just me!) but perhaps the level of reflection in the lake is a tiny bit too high? I just wonder if the tree reflections would be so sharply defined with the water as choppy as it is. Wish I could do something as good as this, though! Gets my vote for the Hot 20.

Say, FW, how could I avoid clickin' the "vote" button? That's why it's in the Hot20, it deserves it! A big improvement on an already beautiful image, but what's stunning me is the quality of the atmosphere, it seems you've used Volumetric World, judging from the perfect density of the (morning mist). A real pleasure to the eye.
