Very nice texture you did in you inspirationless boredom, by the way. And excellent DOF! Is that the standard for Cinema4D?

How about entering the Grapich Set Contest? Anyway this is awesome! I really love the DOF! Amazing Martin! And the shaders (on the tower mostly) are brilliant! Truly photorealistic :)!

Marty my friend - don't worry about running out of ideas - all the inspiration you need you are surrounded by. It is much like the eye of a photographer who believes they must travel to exotic locations to get a great image - when in fact - there are literally thousands of excellent photographs that they could take in just a single city block area. It is often the little things that make great and awe inspiring pictures - and here is a perfect example of that statement right here in your newest upload - a simple chess set - inspired by playing the game. The main focal point of this 'Castle' is masterfully crafted and has a look of being a cross between cast iron and gold painted pewter. The angle of the view is fresh and interesting and the depth of field is photo-perfect. Bravo Perry, you're out of your slump already!

I think you should enter the graphic set as well--even if just to get things and ideas flowing! This is a wonderful POV--like an ant's view of the mighty rook! The blur looks very realistic and focuses our eyes on the beautiful texturing!

Excellent as usual. Beautiful textures, perfect composition. My only critique would be that the depth of field line seems very sharp, almost as if two images had been put together. Just being picky though, I still love it!

Wow,I really didnt expect such a wonderful feedback like this!!Thank you very much...some answers: Well,.hdr map was used, but no radiosity,I want it only for reflection. virtuallyhistorical: I agree that DOF really "cut" it to 2 images,I wanted to fix it,but with no success! About graphic contest (:)) I think I have no chance,I had a look there and there is much better works than mine! ;)

Fantastic image. Love the POV. If you need inspiration, I've often found that reading, especially sci-fi or period pieces, gets the juices flowing. Just a thought....

another super image - the metal texture is interesting all by itself, and i really like the depth blurring, you're so good at that!....

Another stunning one, Martin! The "macro" feeling is striking, enhanced even more by the master use of DOF and the usual mastery of ligthing. This is another incredible proof of your skills... and you're continuing to whine about lack of inspiration ;-) ___ I'd like a lot to be uninspired like you, LOL.
