Hello, and thanks for dropping by. I've finally got around to updating this page - it's only taken me a year! The picture is of the village where I live - it's better looking than I am!BIOFor those who care - I'm female, 46 (gawd, I was 43 last time I edited this page!), English but living in the Republic of Ireland (that's the southern part!) with four dogs, two cats, six hens, one cockerel and a husband. No room for kids! Not really sure what else to tell you - they allow up to 20,000 characters in this part , and there's no way I have that much to say about myself - so I'll leave it at this, and if there's anything else you want to know - just ask!

Ha, it looks like you are going through the village ;) Beautiful work! It is nice to see a more real character and her expression is great. Love it!

First let me say that I love her face, especially her eyes. Then I'll say once again, I love your postwork and what you've achieved...beautiful work!

One of the things, (well - actually - more than one) that I love about your imagery Jo are firstly - the full figured Rubenesqustyle of your female characters. As an artist myself, I truly wish I had lived back during the time period of people like Rubens when a woman of substance was considered by society a beautiful and not overweight. Today's vision of human toothpicks as lovely have as much appeal as sliding down a 50 foot razor blade into a pool of salt. Your women all seem to be an accurate reflection of true womanhood. The second thing I love about your characters are the eyes, and the third is the facial expressions you manage to give your people. Instead of a mannequin expressionless stare - you give your characters the breath of life. This "The Butcher's Daughter" is another perfect example of your growing skills and why I adore your work. Bravo Jo - keep them coming - this gets my vote.

Well done! I agree with racin-jason. Pencil thin models (even if they carry swords) get old after a while. This is truely beautiful. Her stance, expression (especially the cheek, mouth and eyes) are sooo alive. To me she appears to be a sweet yet innocently mischevious person, someone I would like to get to know better! Excellent!!

Now this really caught my eye. Very different. I like the body style....not too chunky, and very real. She looks kind, yet mischievous. Excellent work here.
