Description

Hello all, decided to take another step away from aircraft panoramas for a bit and show some of the -other- photography I've done. This is from Knott's Berry Farm here in California, taken last year during December, close to Christmas. Unfortunatly, unlike my aircraft photos I don't have a lot of facts to go along with this, but it was an interesting shot that caught my eye as I was walking down Ghost Town. The tower is part of the Supreme Scream ride. At the bottom, you can see the drop from Splash Mountain (for size comparison). EDIT - Forgot to describe what Supreme Scream is. Unlike Splash Mountain (just a slower ride with a big drop at the end, but one of my favs!), Supreme Scream takes you up to the top slowley (where you wait forever it seems), then they shoot you downward. After you reach a certain spot, you 'bounce' like on a bungie cord. That yellow thing on the side of the tower is one of the platforms you sit on (4 on each side).

LoL! The title is very suitable. Splash mountain looks about my speed. Though, I would like to size up the other ride by watching other brave souls subject themselves to it. I bet most of their faces would make a priceless photo! :)

HAAHA sweet, I've been on that. If you go, make sure you're in tight because when that thing drops (quite suddenly I might add), you're floating and if the harness weren't there... well you'd have to hold onto something to stop from floating out of the seat. The Wooden roller coaster there, Ghost Rider, was my favorite ride. We went on it like 6 times :) yelling the whole way, even on the slow climb at the beginning, just for the hell of it.
